Long time, no shows!
We finally had the opportunity to attend our first show since March. It was put on by the Dodge County Canine Club and they did a great job! We got up at 3am, were on the road at 5am and arrived about 8am. The drive was worth it! Aslan competed under the very patient judge, Anna Arndt, in levels 1,2 and 3 for Rally Obedience in both trials. In Trial 1 he scored 99 in each level which gave him 1st place in each level. This also earned him High in Trial and High Combined in Trial. High Combined is not offered at all trials and this was a first for us. We received rosettes for each first place win and a trophy for both High in Trial and High Combined, also another first!
Eylül worked great for the chicken I cooked up the night before. She was awarded Group III under judge Tina Camp while showing off her smile and a Group II under judge Monique Laperriere with some great competition. Both were awesome wins in a large Guardian Group.
Which brings us back to Aslan's rally trial 2. Unfortunately we missed awards for all three levels, as conformation for Eylül was about to start, so I have no idea how we placed. I feel he did well but will find out when results are officially posted.
Kept thinking I would take pictures... later, well it got dark pretty fast so we had to have a photo shoot at home
